Have you ever heard of a small sample size? Every guy who has a slump over 40 at bats while hitting very well for close to a thousand isn’t suddenly a bum. You really need to check out the list of all-time greats who often struggled in post-season.

the decision is can Hanson be ready to play 2nd in 2016. If so Pedro if not traded or Walker who can move to 3rd that money will be allocated to one of them. But back issues can be an issue. I do think 2015 will see the last of Pedro,

There is no real plus for Pedro going to winterball, for Pedro that is.
If he doesn’t hit tons of HRs he failed. Not to mention, if he hit .220 in a 3rd rate legue, what does that due to his value?

Any ideas as to why the Pirates haven’t offered legitimate extension money to Neil Walker? He’s clearly established himself as one of the best 2B in the league. Only thing I can figure is they’re wary of his history of back problems. Otherwise, it seems like a no-brainer!
