I don’t know why anyone gets upset about any coach at a press conference. Who cares. They don’t owe me anything at the podium. If Tomlin says nothing, but get things fixed behind the scenes where it really matter, then it’s all good. Unfortunately, Tomlin and the staff aren’t getting it done behind the scenes either.

I smell, and it stinks, another 8-8 effort by these “men”. That’s 24-24 over the past 3 years. If that’s the standard, why bother? With 99 out, this team could spiral down faster than it already has. Sure am glad we have all these anniversaries coming up – maybe the old guys can teach this group of selfies a thing about pride and winning.

I would say some housecleaning needs to take place.
My list in order:
1. Colbert. It’s all about the draft the last 5 years.
2. LeBeau. Time to hang them up. It’s a passing game. Using 1st round draft picks on front 7 instead of DB’s really showing up. The theory of pressure the QB over top notch DB’s ain’t working now is it!!!!
3. Haley or Tomlin or both.

Actually, I don’t. I think they’ll win one. Atlanta is a horrible match up. No way they slow down those WRs. KC is a horrible match up too. Surely they can beat Cincy once.

If The Steelers miss the playoffs again this season not only will that be 3 straight years, but they will have missed the post-season on half of Tomlin’s tenure here.(4 of 8 years) If that happens and nothing is done once again, I don’t want to hear this garbage of “the standard” or “The Steelers Way”, as clearly those are words that have lost all meaning.

The score should have never been as close as the end indicated. Mike Mitchell is an airhead. Ben was playing not to lose before the injury. Brett Kiesel done for the year? Wonder if he will hang them up forever?

I have an idea…no more pressers about what needs to be done. Just shut up and do it already. Offense and defense need to play as consistent units for each and every bit of those 60 minutes. No more garbage penalties, garbage throws, or cheap shots due to frustration!

That is all! Going back in the shadows again!

If you would have told me we would have held Jimmy Graham to zero catches and targets, and we STILL would give up 35 points I would have called you a liar on the spot.
