Interview: Marc-Andre Fleury, Penguins

BY DEJAN KOVACEVIC

Marc-Andre Fleury, the Penguins’ franchise goaltender, leads the NHL with six shutouts and is among the top 10 with his 2.16 goals-against average, .926 save percentage and 22-7-4 record. All four figures are on pace to surpass career highs.

I interviewed Fleury earlier this week after practice at Consol.

UPDATE 12:25 p.m.: Fleury is named an All-Star replacement due to an injury to the Predators’ Pekka Rinne. Kind of thought that’s how this would play out. Justice served. Fleury belongs.
