I think team chemistry is important on an up and coming team. Blount is no Pro Bowl caliber back. They didn’t need his negative vibe in the locker room. Bell is Pro Bowl caliber. It’s Pro Football and they smoked some weed. Don’t need to cut Bell for that.

Glad Blount(Cheech) won. Maybe next year he can convince Bell(Chong) to pull the same act, ship Bell outta here too.

At some point can we draft guys who can stay clean/learn a playbook? Probably not, more Bell, J. Jones, Ta’amu, etc….

And Bell’s use of illegal drugs was swept under the rug……great message to send to kids…..its who you are……during the regular season that James Harrison admitted to domestic violence, Cedric Wilson did the same thing and was released while Harrison was kept on the team

Agree and I will add this, even if he would have made a difference I would rather lose and be a team that stands for what’s right than win at the cost of our integrity. It’s not whether you win or lose but how you go about getting there. Just look at the Patroits as an example of how not to win.

The Steelers made the right move. It isn’t a matter of hindsight. But it is a matter of the lengths to which one football team in the NFL will go to win. It will videotape teams. It will rig headsets. It will find substitution rules to manipulate.It will apparently deflate game balls. It will play murderers, thieves, drug addicts, and anyone or anything else to win. There is a culture with that team unlike any I have seen in my 41 years as a fan. And I think you all know what team I am talking about.
