BY JOSH YOHE

Greetings, Lunatics.

That I am writing this from PNC Park might seem unusual, given that most of you know me from the world of ice hockey. But it won’t seem unusual for long. In case you aren’t aware, I have been hired by my friend and (like I’ll ever call him this) boss, Dejan Kovacevic, as a full-time reporter.

And if you think I’m just a hockey guy, you’re wrong.

For all of you hockey fans, please know that my coverage of the Penguins will not change. I’ll bring you the same coverage, at home and on the road, with the Penguins that I always have. But there are two other major professional teams in Pittsburgh, and I assure you I’ll be covering the Steelers and Pirates in the same fashion.

Much of my life has been dedicated to studying Pittsburgh sports. It has been a passion of mine since I was a child, and it remains so to this day. I trust you’ll sense this once you read my work.

If there is one thing, above all, that Dejan and I have in common, it is our unparalleled love for the city of Pittsburgh and its sports fans. We are striving to give you unprecedented coverage, a site that gives Pittsburgh sports fans everything they could possibly desire, and more. The future is now.

You will be informed, and you will be entertained. That’s a promise.

I’m very much looking forward to writing on a daily basis for this site while also interacting with many of you this spring and beyond.

We feel like this site is the start of something special, and I couldn’t be happier to be on board.
