I agree with your criticism of the players especially Walker a veteran who should know better. But you started your rant withy criticizing Hurdle and what he said. I guess it’s just easier to pick on Hurdle. Question the non bunt absolutely. But at this point Hurdle is dealing with a flawed roster construction and several underperforming players in all phases. Not sure what he can do The players have to step up and or Neal needs to change up the roster.

The Pirates finished the current 18 game stretch with a record of 10-8. The four segments so far this year are 10-8, 7-11, 13-5, and 10-8.

Currently the Pirates overall record is 40-32. They are currently 5 games better than the 2014 club at this point, which was 35-37.

It was this point last year the team went above .500 going 12-6 in the next 18 games.

I will repost on the thread tonight if no one minds. Hope you are doing well Tom, your insight is missed.
