CINCINNATI -- At long last, A.J. Burnett was front and center at All-Star week.
When Burnett speaks, we all listen. He was in great form today, flanked by A.J. Jr. and Ashton throughout the day, including during his 45-minute session with the media. They're having a blast and their old man had a blast with the media.
Burnett was asked if, indeed, he truly is Batman: "You guys don't know what I do after you go to bed at night, and where I go."
This drew laughter. He kept a straight face. For a little while, anyway. Burnett then explained that his Batman shoes are ready for Tuesday night. That should cause a stir.
