This is the primary reason I subscribed as well. Pick a good one, DK.

I questioned the hire at first. I’m all for taking a chance on up-and-coming talent, but I liked the experience needed for the Steelers beat hire. I want similar quality for the Pirates.

I appreciate the level of transparency provided.

I was unimpressed by his contributions. Not to the level of other writers on staff, IMO.

Is that name worth $10K+ in new business to DK?

Dejan – would love to see John Perrotto come on board as Pirates beat writer or in some capacity.

Duh, make that $295/mo. Hit the wrong button on my trusty HP 12c

Sorry that I missed the bash, had a birthday party re-scheduled.

I was thinking about posting something about a name change, but figured you were already on that. I did see someone is trying to sell (squatting) pittsburghSPORTS.com for $24k CASH. I wouldn’t pay more than $10k and NOT Cash. I’d offer $5k Cash or $262/mo for 36 months (that’s a 3.9% interest rate, like buying a used car) which is $10k 3 years from now.

Aren’t there confidentiality reasons related to personnel matters that would inhibit the papers from commenting on your leaving?
