That was definitely what all the reporting at the time said. I think this might be a case where there isn’t a category for his offense or something. Hard to believe everybody’s reporting was dead wrong on such an objective fact.

Overreaction and unjust arrest. I’m sorry but he was below the legal limit. His crime was proof that he had consumed alcohol at all at age 20. He does not need anyone vouching for his family or being a good person. How many of us “messed up” in the same way?

It was a underage DUI, however, it seems he did blow above the legal limit. One of the non-dismissed charges was “DUI: Gen Imp (BAC .08 – .10) 1st Off”. That is news to me, I was under the impression he was under .08.
