Josh Harrison, career up to 2014: .250/.282/.367 (78 wRC+)
Josh Harrison, since his 2014 high water mark on June 18th: .240/.279/.337 (70 wRC+)
But damn was it fun while it lasted.
Would anyone else here have batted Snider 2nd and Harrison 8th?

Snider has better on-base skills, Harrison makes better contact.
Jordy can’t hit RHP worth a lick, so you gotta put someone behind Martin and Davis.

The Pirates have, by far, the most outfield depth in the National League with three hitters -Harrison (113 wRC+), Snider (94 wRC+), and Tabata (88 wRC+)- better than ANY reserve in the National League not named Scott Van Slyke.

This could be a big start for Liriano as it could shape the decision-making for Huntington to acquire another starting pitcher, especially if Cole struggles in a rehab start (if he gets one) prior to the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.
Hopefully this is Polanco adjusting to MLB pitching after a few weeks struggling.

Any one here able to explain why I can see the ike column and the game thread etc with no subscription…i fully intend to subscribe and support dk but currently it looks like it is unnecessary. Is there additional content or is the system currently broken. Heck i can even post without a subscription.

The 2014 Pirates’ team really enjoy being in a pennant race again and are having a lot of fun just playing hardnosed baseball. The fans are becoming believers too, evidenced by the large crowds and electric atmosphere at PNC Park while the Buccos were winning the Dodgers series.
