Interview: David Perron, Penguins

BY DEJAN KOVACEVIC

David Perron, the Penguins’ fresh arrival from Edmonton, already has as many goals in eight games in Pittsburgh as he did in half a season with the Oilers. Maybe more important for his future, he’s also found an immediate home alongside Sidney Crosby.

I interviewed Perron earlier this week in Philadelphia.

Thanks DK, these interviews are great. Perron being able to fit on Sid's wing and the way he talked about it says a lot about him.

Not slamming the Oilers when he had a chance says a lot about him too. I really like what he brings to the Pens. Good interview, DK.

top 9 that will be hard to compete with.

If rutherford can swing a deal for a top 6 rw to bump comeau down, i feel it would do wonders for the overall depth of the lineup and allow us to compete with the rest of the metro.

Seems like a respectable fellow, not wanting to bash Edmonton when his hesitancy made it sound like he easily could have.

Great interview and a nice way to become familiar with our new winger.
