Wanted to know from any Duquesne fans, how do you feel about Ferry Year 3?

Not very well then, I guess.

The longer this goes on the less I like about it. He clearly is having issues with some of his recruits since one was just indefinitely suspended and others have been suspended throughout the year. Also, his record right now is comparable to that of Danny Nee. To me that speaks volumes as to how bad it is right now. Everhart had a much better record and was doing much better when he got fired. With that all being said I still put more blame for this mess on Amodio and the DU administration for their lack of support for the program over the years and their botchery of Everharts firing. It's hard to win when your bosses don't make the right calls or give you the necessary support.

Seems like their recruiting base right now relies a lot on JUCOs. Never know what your going to get.

A long time ago, they were the basketball power in town. Sucks. I want them to get better.

Hard to get a good read still, I feel. I like his passion, and it seems like he's recruiting the right type of kid for this program for the most part. In all three seasons, you've seen upticks where things seem to be coalescing the right way, and then the Dukes falter again. Didn't see the game last night, but it feels like a bad loss. Hoping the Chuck Cooper Classic on Saturday brings some electricity to Consol!

Disaster. After the (relative) heights of the Everhart era, to return to the losing ways of the last 30 years (basically, my lifetime) is very depressing. I thought it was a huge mistake, not to mention a travesty the way it was done, when they fired Everhart (DK wrote a great piece on it at the time) and if there is such a thing as karma, then this result is not surprising.
