Penguins 5, Panthers 1

Fixed! Thanks!

Our own little miracle on ice.

I think it was an accident.

Get a slingbox! Buy it once and you don't have to worry about blackouts like NHL GC.

I'm fortunate ... living in San Antonio Texas I never have to worry about a blackout. Yeah DK would probably be in blackout zone in Bradenton this night. If slingbox is legal I'll try it next season. ;)

It's absolutely legal,I travel every week of my life and use it all the time to watch Pens, Steelers, Bucos, etc.

Hey Jay may I ask a pertinent question regarding Slingbox? I have a TV but no cable service (use HD antenna) ... does that mean I will still be blacked out when Pen's play on NBCSN (the only channel I cannot get via antenna) if using Slingbox? I've tried the local bars and restaurants but convincing them to show hockey is like pulling hen's teeth (unless the Rampage are on which I care very little about). Thank in advance.

Whatthepuck if you have a tablet the nbcsn app streams the hockey games live as well

elemon87, I was asking primarily because the slingbox site text reads a bit like the NBCSN wording meaning -if- you have a regular cable TV service you can enter that provider details enabling anywhere access to their signal via internet. If you don't have pay cable service though the internet streaming service is unavailable. Slingbox is quite expensive ... and I would not want to ante up only to discover later that I need to subscribe to cable access at home in order to take advantage of the slingbox service via the net.

I don't want cable trash coming into my home in order to watch my Penguins, which is why I pay a great deal for GCL only to watch one team. I only wish I could get those few games that NBCSN, and NHLN carries.

Thanks for the information though. I appreciate any and all info that can help me see more Penguins hockey out here on the frontier. :)

So here's the skinny on slingbox. You pay once. NHL GC you pay every season. Sling box allows you to watch whatever is on your tv at home any channel and control and use your dvr. So, if you live out of town and want to watch the PGH stuff, you'll have to have a relative who is here hook it up to one of their tvs. There are no blackouts with sling box. You watch whatever is on your tv just like you're at home. Hope that helps.

Great backhander

Flower is the reason this team is in a playoff spot

CROSBY will probably throw down with him next shift.

Hey Jay, don't give DK all the credit for that.
I was saying that to myself over and over for weeks prior to DK, I was, I really was. LOL

Yea but he was on the airwaves, TV and Radio beating the drum too.

You know it's coming

He's so awful.

Yes, he's awful. But he's like that crazy uncle who you gripe about until the one time he doesn't show for Thanksgiving. And then you miss him.

I've stopped being annoyed by Steigy's homerism, and learned to lov ... well, like him.

Listen to the Jackets or Capitals telecasts during a Penguins game (having lived in VA & Columbus), it will make you wish Steigy called every game. I'll never complain again.

You're correct about Caps' announcers. Their color guy actually defended Ovechkin's home run cut on Letang's calf.

But the all-time worst is Jack Edwards in Boston. A seventh grade cheerleader is more objective.

Hate say anything positive about the Flyers, but their Jim Jackson is very good, IMHO.

Nevermind

How did the time get changed on my post? It said 4:31 when I posted it.
Did it get altered to bump it to the bottom?

Something is acting up Dave ... I have "oldest to newest" selected for post order yet, with the exception of yours, the time stamps are "newest to oldest".
