I can. Name everyone other than Bonds, Bonilla and Smiley who left.

Doug Drabek most importantly.

Drabek was here for all three division titles, then went 9-18 in 1993, his first season with the Astros. He left but wasn't going to be worth anything close to what he'd get paid. Not so for the other three.

Point taken; however, when the best players leave (for whatever reason) and your fav team embarks on a 20-year losing skid, some folks will worry about it happening again. I'm too old for another 20-year disaster!

Dejan,
Not fair to cherry pick on Drabek's 1993 stats with Astros.
After 1992 season, Drabek was 29 years old, coming off a Cy Young win in 1990 and 5th in Cy Young voting in 1992. .277 ERA in 1992.
Pirates chose not to make large effort to resign him after 1992 season.
Unless they knew some inside medical info about Drabek, poor effort and big loss to rotation.

Other than Bonds, Bonilla, Smiley reminds me of …
Reg: All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
Attendee: Brought peace?
Reg: Oh, peace - shut up!

Drabek came to my mind right away. Also Tim Wakefield. I always enjoyed watching him.
Completely, but respectfully, disagree about David Todd. I look forward to those fifteen minutes all week. Love his pacing and ability to segueway between questions.
