I hope you like your job and that they pay you well because the thought of going to Greensburg every day could be a deal breaker.

What could be better than traveling to the home of Scaife's impartial Tribune-Review?!

I grew up in Greensburg and used to deliver the Trib when it was Greensburg only and had both an AM and PM edition. Can you believe there was enough news back then in GBG for 2 daily editions. The presses were cranking out the paper and ink back in those days. I don't recall the Scaife influence back then, when did he take ownership?

Scaife tried to buy the Pittsburgh Press back during the strike of 1994.
The Post-Gazette trumped him by buying the Press and ceasing its production to end the strike.

Scaife then bought the Greensburg Tribune-Review, expanded it to be the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, and set out to put the Post-Gazette out of business while become increasingly, muy increasingly right wing conservative. At times the Trib has made Fox News look liberal.

He poured over $100 million in the next decade and a half to try to make the Trib work and strangle the P-G, according to court records. His two kids have sued his estate and lawyers for wasting their inheritance. Fun family!

I wish Scaife had bought the Pirates.

I love Rodriquez's arm, height, and hustle.

You can put him just about anywhere and he won't hurt you.

Of course...no reason to not still love The Legend!

+1

I miss him too

Steelkings BFF.

GROW!!

He's about as tall as Freddie Patek.
