North Carolina State 81, Pitt 70

Huge recruiting classes for Miami and fsu too. I think Clemson as well

Yea, man. I think Wake, Louisville bring almost everybody back too.

Yea. Cams had three chances to take one to the rim off a screen and pulled up...this is a team with a lot of problems.

No consistent 3 point threat cripples paint production

Jeter turned out to be a self admitted head case and wonder if his attitude affected Newkirk's development? Neskirk's body language different this year then last and attitude was too

Newkirk hasn't made a 3 since non conference play

No offense from the guards is just crippling.

He needs to be in an up tempo offense to be effective. He's a terrible perimeter defender - no doubt about it

Yea, bj. I wish they had pushed the ball more at times this year. Especially against the bigger teams.

Lol

I'm beginning to think this team could be worse next year. They better hope Haughton, Nix and Wilson can play. I got my doubts now.

In my opinion, no. Durand is just another SF who can't defend. He may help with 3s but is not a great defender by any means.

Pitt doesn't have a guard who can drive to the basket and create offense. And they have no low post defender. Their problems run deep.

Durand and Cam Johnson will complicate things. There gonna take minutes from somebody next year. Like I've been saying, too many SFs. They aren't fast enough to cover guards, too small for the frontcourt.

Never is a long time.

I don't know man. A lot of teams in the ACC are pretty young. I think the expectations for Nix and Wilson need to be tempered a bit. No one has seen Ty Haughton play. Durand Johnson and Cam Johnson will take minutes from someone. Neither are great defenders.

They are terrible away from the Pete. Especially in conference.

You can sell me their a bad team. But the young narrative doesn't apply when you realize the amount of freshmen and sophomores on other ACC squads.

Yeah, but they're not losing anyone but Wright. As much as I like how much he progressed, he was really limited offensively.

Who plays the two guard then? Josh Newkirk or the the freshman Wilson, right? Now I imagine Durand, Cam or Chris Jones could play there in spots but you sacrifice speed.

Cam Wright was not a great defender but he was the best they had there, which is scary when you think about it.

Back in the Dark Ages!
