I haven't lived in PGH since the late 70s, so, subsequently, I've never really listened to Mark Madden, except for occasional snippets. Since joining this site, I listen to this weekly segment. Anyway, I can't quite figure why Mark Madden has guests on his show - he doesn't seem to give DK a chance to answer before interrupting or moving to the next topic; he should just fly solo.

DK has forgot more about sports than Madden will ever know. He does have great knowledge of wrestling though,,,,you know, the scripted one that guys that live in their mom's basement watch.

Sheesh, I think you guys are overstating it. I grew up here, was gone for a while, and recently moved back. I had thought Madden was a bit of a caricature, but now that I listen regularly, I think he does a great service by undercutting the dominant paradigm. I really like these weekly chats and don't think there's really an imbalance of who gets their say in a Madden interview. Plus, who else is gonna say about Kang, "he's gonna stink!"
