News/views: Steelers will open at New England

All 2014/2015 playoff teams from week 12-16, coming off the bye. That's a tough way to end the season.

Ugh...No favors here. Two Thursday games in the first four, then four of the last six on the road (including all three division foes). Whew!

Bring it on. GO STEELERS

Good to see Ravens get Manning early, in their first game. He usually starts fast. Drop some TDS on them.

Tomlin better fix that defense

6-10, maybe worse with that pathetic defense...can't see them being able to stop anyone

The date of the New England game is wrong

Easier teams last year and this year year not so much I guess. I was in the camp last year they were a 8 and 8 type team at best. Forget the fact the Ravens cleaned their clock in the playoffs, this year I expect a regression to reflect they are average.

I think he was safe.

Steelers will be lucky to win 6 games.

Steelers will be lucky to win 6 games.

Steelers will be lucky to win 6 games.

Did you find it ironic that the steelers requested doubling up west coast games to make travel easier, when just a couple years ago they flew to London what seemed like hours before their game, giving little time to get acclimated to the 5-hr time difference?

Does anyone know when Bell's appeal decision comes down?

How many losses did they have last year against weak opponents? Maybe the tough schedule will turn out for the better! Super Bowl bound.

What a brutal schedule - as Tomlin would say - IT IS WHAT IT IS - and the IS will be a 6 - 10 record. Oh well - we should have a decent schedule for the following year......

Test

Four of final six games on road including final two. That hasn't happened in a long time. Not a very exciting home slate this year.

The Steelers could seriously be better this year but have a worse record than 2014. Of course last time they had the toughest schedule in the league they won a super bowl.
