Faceoff: Blackhawks-Lightning, Game 1

If Crosby and Malkin had the wingers Chicago has Id be disappointed in Sid and Geno. You have to be more upset the GMs didn't surround them with quality the way Chicago did their top talent.

Just wait until those new contracts for Kane and toews kick in. It won't be the same story as it is currently.

I hear what your saying Jay but over the past 6-7 years the Penguins lost to teams with inferior talent at both wings and supposedly at center. I'm not asking for Pens to win the Cup every year but they certainly should have made a few more conference and cup finals.

I would also add that when Crosby had Iginla at the tail end of his prime, he didn't want to play with him. Just too many years of them not playing well both at the same time and elevating the play of the teammates around them enough.

I agree they've underachieved, but Mario and company only won one more Cup. Just a little perspective.

Beautiful goal, might be saying that a lot this series.

Let's hope so, this has to be better hockey than what we'd have seen with Rangers

Yep he is a beast out there
