Final: Riverhounds 1, Independence 1

This may sound trite, but I would like to see the Riverhounds and other USL records listed in W-D-L format, as the rest of the world does. Any serious soccer fan see 9-8-4 and immediately calculates 35 points in their head.

Thanks for your coverage. Go Riverhounds!

Matt, it is Ben Newnam (you wrote Ryan).

A "Vincentesque" goal by Moloto!

fyi, Charlotte eagles still exist. they "self-relegated" down to PDL

Frustrating result.

Bad bad bad bad coaching. A goal up and a man up with half time to plan the rest of the game. So what do we do? Instead of trying to exploit our advantage by controlling and killing off the game, we give up possession by taking off Okai and Moloto, two thirds of our midfield. Then we defend deep and give up free kick after corner to a team whose only advantage is overwhelming size on set pieces. Good Lord if Charlotte weren't so bad that they sent most kicks straight to our keeper or to the first defender to head it out, we could have given up three or four goals in the second half instead of just one.
