DEJAN KOVACEVIC, DK ON PITTSBURGH SPORTS
Those of you who haven’t been able to log in — or stay logged in — should be able to do so now. In yet another weird event, only about half of all subscriptions were carried from one server to the next during the upgrade Thursday. That meant the rest had to be entered by hand.
Please let me know of any lingering issues in this thread. Oh, and as always, clear the browser’s cache and history, enable cookies and login anew. After that, all should be swell.
Also, anyone who had trouble to this point had their subscription starting point moved to today.
Thanks.
Schweet!
Finally see avatar and ability to modify profile. Nice having a visual cue that one’s logged in.
Thanks for getting to the root cause and resolving. I work at a software company. I have seen similar issues and resolutions.
Hope your IT or intern took care of it.
YAY!!!!!!
Oh, pay no attention to the YAY woman in front of the curtain. OY.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
PLAN! I said pay NO attention!!
What do you mean by profile? I’m subbed but, don’t see any option, other than setting my Gravatar in WordPress.
@Adam
Click or tap your profile pic. Menu with edit profile appears.
@Billy, I got it. Thanks.
How do you add avatar? I can’t find it anywhere on profile section
Figured it out
DK
Please excuse my posting that it’s OK. Its way early, I haven’t had coffee and I was excited.
Coffee before posting, coffee before posting. I gotta remember that.
So, I go to bed so I can get hubby up early for a Saturday job, then the Bucs decide they wanna play ball. OK, I can handle that. Love the final score
And guess who has the second wild card spot as of today?
The Pittsburgh Nuttings?
Staying in the race is all part of the master PR plan. Boost ticket sales in August and September, line pockets of Nutting, only to fall just short of playoffs.. Bucs will say ‘we tried’ and Nutting will build more ski lifts. Suckers.
Cmat sometimes i cant tell if you are being sarcastic or not.
Same here – I left them for dead in the 6th. Shocked to see that score. Pleasantly shocked!
Check out what I posted in the game thread. Literally was giving them one last ab to make it worth the lack of sleep.

still no good, using firefox if that helps is there any infomation i can give you to try and solve the situation?
Look at this! We offered FOUR prospects for Price. WOW.
http://www.raysindex.com/2014/08/rays-david-price-pirates.html
Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Did anyone ever disclose who the prospects were? I wonder if Pedro or Marte were ever on the table?
Not that I’m aware of (yet anyway), radio. But I’ve heard Josh Bell was one from a couple of unconfirmed sources.
Guys, let’s spell this out, once and for all. The A’s moved Cespedes BECAUSE HE IS A FREE AGENT AFTER 2015. If they had him with a Marte-type contract, HE IS STILL AN OAKLAND A.
Pedro is the ONLY thing the Pirates had that approximated Cespedes. Would’ve been a bad move.
Pretty clear that the package was Bell, Glasnow plus 2 other pieces.
I think i read bell taillon or glasnow plus 2 others
Ya they wanted mlb ready pitching. Best the bucs could have offered is Locke. He isnt on the same level as smyly.
Still can’t get the login email link to send. Not sure if the paywall issue (?) is included in the fixes. Thanks!
Barb, can you please send an email? We need your email to fix this for you. Thank you so much for being patient.
Email sent. Thanks for your help!
Dk: i had to clear data again today. Third time in 4 days. Using Iphone 4s with ios 7.12.
How do you clear the data? I have a 4s also and can’t figure it out.
On a 5S is : Settings- Safari- Clear Cookies and Data. It should be something similar on yours.
Did you login (had a new mail sent) after you cleared data? That should solve your problem.
DK may be off on Saturday, but Mrs. DK is still on the job. Teamwork.
He probably has his kids mowing the lawn, trimming the hedges and weeding that flower garden.
HAHA, Lucky! He only thought he was off today!
Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don’t make (as I duck). Getting Price would have meant there was zero chance of resigning Martin or anyone else this off season
It is insane how my mood and opinion on this team swings wildly. One day I think they should have sprung for price which it sounds like they did. The next I think they are so bad it wouldn’t matter. In the end this team just needs too much with or without one big trade.
Waaaaiiit a second…BenchMonsters??? Is that a thing? Just caught end of rebroadcast from last night. I need to watch more games. Jandy, get out your invoice book. Turns out the blog needs to invoice the bucs and root sports on top of PM, disco, mario and burkle.
Steigy and Bibster get a pass
Got it, Boss!!!
Actually put PM’s invoice on hold till he signs his new deal or extension. Don’t want to put the squeeze on him with one year left…..Don’t let anyone tell you i can’t be flexible.
Worley Bird on the mound tonight. Petey at 3rd and Davis at 1st. Martin behind the plate, thankfully.
J. Hay us amazing.
Was unable to leave any comments on the Riverhounds game thread- that page was just a blank page…
I know. That has nothing to do with the logins. Has to do with video embeds. Priority No. 1.
Also I subscribed yesterday and still have not received an email link so I can read everything…
No prob accessing site for first week or so. Logged in once, continued to stay logged in. Now getting requests to log in, even though site shows I am (“howdy, pghwelshgirl” in corner). Logged out/back in via email link – get msg to subs/log in. Can read comments, not articles.
Still can’t login! Just got back from vacation today and tried again. Very frustrating! I just keep getting an endless loop of giving my email address to login then being redirected to the same page. I paid to subscribe…came out of my account the same day. Help please?!
Sunday, 12:11 AM in California. Did the (new) login thing via email, but does not appear to be working still – get the subscription notice when going to the “Morning” link…
