WVU had a pretty good shot vs. Alabama and Oklahoma… hopefully today they can seal the deal at the end!
Ah, the annual track meet with Baylor, 2012 WVU won 70-63, last season Baylor won 73-42–think about that last one, you score 42 points and lose by 31
The over/under was 89. They may hit that by the 3rd quarter.
Would like to see a Mountaineer win. Can’t stand Baylor and I would enjoy the upset.
And…. we’re off!
I hope they don’t keep any defensive stats in this game. 2-0 this week for Pitt and WVU would be refreshing in a year of underachievement for both.
I disagree with the underachievement re WVU thus far. WVU only two loses came against Alabama and a good Oklahoma team. After the past two seasons I’m thrilled to this years start.
WVU its own worst enemy in the first half and still have a lead
Agreed. Without the boneheaded penalties on WVU’s part, this game might not be this close.
6 min left, Mounties up 14. Big resume win if they hang on.
WVU finally closed a game out against a good opponent. Pitt won, WVU won… a win against the Isles tonight will complete my weekend
Had no clue the defense could play such a good game.
Biggest win for hogy so far.
I agree Jal, impressive performance by the mountaineers defense today. If they keep playing like that WVU will be a very tough out.
Hopefully Pitt and WVU play up to their potential from here on out. Excellent wins Panthers and Mountaineers!
Excellent win for WVU! Long flight back to Waco for Baylor. So plenty of time for their coaches and players to reflect on how their dream of a National Championship was crushed in Morgantown.
