On location: Penguins 1, Devils 0, final

Hope the word I saw about Sid being sick isn't so.

If nothing else at least we might get to see the Wilkes-Barre line of Wilson-Ebbett-Megna.

GO PENS !!!

Kunitz a healthy scratch....?

Let's go Pens!

Crosby & Bortuzzo are both playing. Kunitz is out.

But Kunitz, hmm. I guess I can hope for a trade!

Ok Savran said he was sick.

Hindsight being 20/20 wouldn't it have been sweet if we offered Jagr a multi year deal when he came back to the NHL from Russia 4 years ago? I believe he would have signed here if we did that.

Well it wasn't very good but atleast they got an early PP

Lookie there 47 on the PK!

Megna just biffed that puck in front there. Oy.

Lots of bad info above, stop it.

Anyone know what time the game starts ?

Jagr ain't snoozin....amazing how hard he still plays.
Gettin a lot of ice time ...

BIG hit by Bortuzzo!

Nice stop on 2 on 1 by Ehrhoff

Can someone hit the net

Of the 1,230 NHL games scheduled in 2014-15, this is one of them.

And now a public service announcement :

Don't flip over to the Pitt game. You're welcome.

Have to love the NHL, 7th D-men late and high hit on a future HOF, absolutely nothing.

Looks like we keep waiting for their goalie to make a mistake on the shooters, while he's saying nah, you have to beat me with a good shot.

Stopped here after an evening meeting.

Discovered Sid can still play in all 82, as he wished last season. Yeah!!

Now to the car to deliciously fill my ears with Mike Lange!

There's a goal!

Somebody wake up the Pens. Jersey has finally decided to play offense.

Just saw that a Latvian named Girgensons, who plays for the Sabres, has twice as many All Star votes as Crosby right now.

@PucknutZ - Kay Francis, highest paid star of the early sound era.

Ehrhoff really playing the 2on1's well

Sutter has had way more scoring chances shorthanded than 5 on 5

Fleury is putting that shutout record out of reach.

Geno got hosed there on that scrum. But he has the satisfaction of the GWG.

It feels like they raised the mounds in the NHL.

Hit on Jagr was text book, Bortuzzo and Despres solid. Geno on rampage. == win

Bortuzzo. No more scratches for this guy. If regular season is to prepare for playoffs, this guy plays. He is exactly the type of player they miss in playoffs. He is an instigator not a retaliatory player. Smart not dropping gloves with Tootoo.

Thought Erhoff played well also.

Geno, I like him somewhat aggressive, but a little smarter.

Nice win.

Nice win for us jaded Pens fans in the "meaningless regular season".
Flower a shutout.
Borts coming on as a force to be reckoned with.
Tight game, kept cool and grind it out.

On a team short on top six options, Comeau has been a nice fill-in for an almost nothing cap hit.

With injuries piling up, Pens might need to take some flyers on some guys on waivers.

No reason to hurry Letang back with a groin injury. Let him rest, we have enough to get by without him for the time being. Interesting Kunitz is out with a foot fracture. He stunk for a few weeks.

So with current injuries, and Wilson possibly being hurt, who is next in line from WB/S? Rust? Archibald?

Soooo Tootoo is claiming the Borts hit is a blatant headshot. I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt on that.

Nice win and the Pens simply played the game they needed to play to beat a average Devils team. 2 Points and move on.

Ehrhoff played very solid game tonight.

Time is coming to move Martin.

Bortz should never come out of the live up. Move Despres back to left side and dump Scuderi. Downie is a 4th liner at best.

Bortuzzo really needs to continue to play more and more. The upside with this guys far outweighs the bad, and he seems to have taken his game to a much higher level this season.
