Yes

Bennett and Harrington are the scratches.

bennett and scuderi 4 yakupov

Yea I'm McTavish would take that deal, NOT!

no

Some good points there Groat,
Ditto... enough guys are back...lets play as a team.

I lost my bearings. A lot has changed since my last visit here. And not for the better.

There's barely a sound in this place. Including body contact. Horrible.

Maybe you can hear Lapierre's insults ??

Just mentioned to my kids how the place seemed like a church. Are there real people in the seats or just cardboard cutouts?

Bennett and D for E. Kane ??

I hope not. One, they'd be selling low. Two, they'd just be weakening their winger depth.

Bennett and Martin for Kane and Stuart

How will they fit Kane's prorated 6 mil cap hit when they only have 400k available?

I doubt there's going to be any big name guys coming to the Pens. They just don't have the financial wiggle room unless they dump a couple of onerous contracts, but who would take them on?

I made a mistake. Kane has a 5.25 mil cap hit. Still doesn't make it any more likely they could make magic happen.

What might the Pens realistically get for Bennett? A conditional 7th round pick, upgraded to a 6th based on the other team making the playoffs/second round in the playoffs.

Bennett has little to no value until he proves he can stay healthy *and* shows he can produce. At which point no one will want to trade him.

So I'm sorry but how is that a good deal he was 1st round pick? I think them scratching him will hopefully get his head out of his butt. You can't coast because you're in the line up. I wish MJ would do this with some other people, 27 and 4 come to mind.

Wasn't saying it was a good deal. Just answering your question about what they could realistically get for Bennett.

It's that whole selling low thing. Which is why the Pens shouldn't trade him at this point. Play him and hope he can figure things out and gets better.

I agree trading him now is silly, teach the kid a lesson and hopefully he realizes how good he has it

Has Bortuzzo thrown a check in a month? Maybe Tootoo hit him so hard that he thinks he is Bobby Orr.

He is flying out there tonight and is making Arcobello look good.

Saving. I never waste good stuff on social media.

"Saving" LOL DK
So don't' waste the good stuff on your "own" social media???
Jaggin ya, but us paying customers like a little hint now and then!

Not a one.

Ya had to mention it, 'Nutzie.

Did the Pens not meet the payroll this month? This team is just uninspiring. to say the least. I disagree with the position that the Pens are playing hard and with peak performance. They got badly outplayed by the Preds and that just can't happen on home ice DK. .

You really think he kicked that ? Does anyone in the "crowd" care couldn't tell back here I. TV land

How about a little love for the Hustle, Dejan?

Replay look like off thigh.

After I replayed it on DVR in slow motion, the puck hit Perron's right skate, then his left knee and went in. Did not touch his left skate.

I like that idea. Why not. No catching & throwing in but any sort of other deflection, kick, hit, it's good. Let's go Pens!

Because it's dangerous to have players grouped around the goal kicking at a loose puck. Those skates are sharp.

We infrequently see slight kicking motions now because it's not allowed. Guys rarely do it and if they do, they hide it.

If it's allowed then there's no reason not to try it. No reason to minimize the kicking motion either if it's legal. Don't want to be a goalie or any player on the ice in the crease in that situation.

Was that a good call removing his assist or is the Edmonton scorekeeper trying to preserve a Gretzky record?

It was a good call. Replay showed the puck bounce off Hornqvist's skate, so there was no question about it.
