A look at the week ahead on the site …
• Monday: I’ll host a full show on 105.9 the X, filling in for Mark Madden, from 3-6 p.m. The podcast will be posted here on the site afterward.
• Tuesday: Tuesday 12 Qs take place at 9 a.m., though you can submit entries beginning at 12:01 a.m. At night, I’ll cover Penguins-Capitals at Consol with a column.
• Wednesday: It’s off to Bradenton. Perhaps no event in human history is more falsely inflated than pitchers and catchers reporting — nothing actually happens beyond players informing the team’s traveling secretary they’re in town — but this is that day, and I’ll be there for a column and the Morning Java video, which will go up a day late on Thursday.

• Thursday: The Java will go up first thing. The pitchers and catchers will take to the fields of Pirate City for the first actual event of spring training, and you’ll get a quick News/Views on that. At 5:10 p.m., I’ll check in with Penguins 24/7 online radio and host Brian Metzer.
• Friday: Friday Insider will be up a tick after midnight. Lots of ball, but other stuff, too.
• Saturday: More ball.
• Sunday: Still more ball. In all seriousness, I’m not sure exactly how some of this will break down. I’ll let the content dictate that, as I invest a lot of time gathering material not only for my initial week in Florida but also for features that could run while I’m back in Pittsburgh. I’ll have one more day there after this one.
As always, expect News/views entries and other surprises along the way.
