On location: Penguins 5, Blue Jackets 3

I have been curious about something. Especially as the trade deadline approaches we have been hearing about what teams have scouts at what games. Do teams have to formally register their scouts and have to make this publicly available? Thanks to anyone who knows the answer.

A new Pen to watch and no Dubinsky in the lineup for the Jackets. Makes the snow a lot more tolerable.

Last game for Beau Bennett in a Penguins uniform ? I'd say it's 50/50. But then again, isn't everything 50/50 really ?

Well Winnik has the drop pass to nobody down pat..........he should fit in nicely.

Just kidding

Game time! Go Pens!

5 shots to 3. Yay NHL.

Nice play and screen by Kunitz on the goal.

Who keeps the stats at the Penguin games, an NHL official or a Penguin employee?

I have seen games with crazy number of hits given to the Pens and now I see that they won 13 faceoffs that period. If they won 13 faceoffs, then I am Gordie Howe.

Another passing clinic results in a goal this time. Still not clicking on the PP.

Just testing ....cannot get the site to present normally....at least within a minute and a half or so.....

For cripe's sake Letang dump it!!! Oy...

God what am I looking at here? SMH

Paul Martin is good.

Pens must continue to skate, be consistent, and play as a team. Three goals is good, but they need to be better.

Always a good sign when newest member of team has a full playoff beard.

Coming from Leafs he must have known he'd be traded a month ago.

Well, that was an acceptable period. Jackets helped a lot.

Geno steamrolling now.

Wow been working, to see this is pleasant!

Just to make the evening complete, could someone smash Hartnell?

Hey Dk would love for you to settle an argument for me.

How do you feel about Despres and Scuds playing together? I hear a lot of arguments that Johnson should give Despres another chance with Letang. But Letang and Martin are playing so well together and Despres seems really comfortable with Scuds. Some people say they think Scuds is holding him back from the real talent he is. I think if its not broken don't fix it, others think its a good time to test it out. What do you think?

Does Sid shoot anymore? Enquiring minds want to know.

Does Letang know we are winning and to make the safe, SMART play when you are winning?

Jackets are taking some liberties here

5 shots in 4 minutes of PP is "feasting" on an opponent ... c'mon Errey.

Commented after DK's video interview a few games back but Geno just seems different this year. More comfortable in his own skin and emerging as leader we've never seen before.

One of my all-time fave Pens so absolutely LOVE to see it.

I hope the Pens figure a way out of the sloppy play at the end of games before the playoffs start.

Pouilot played phenomenal tonight, none of the careless turnovers in his own zone. Hope he can keep it up.

Does anyone believe Johnston that Ehrhoff was just being rested ? I call shenanigans on that one.

Geno using Pouliot-type stick (flatter blade) worth its weight in gold on Geno's recent backhanders. Hey, maybe the young kid can help the wily bear in ways unforeseen.

Man, just loving what this team can become.

Yandle to Rags.
