On location: Miami 67, Pitt 63

On location at the Pete about about a dozen rows directly behind DK and the hoodie. The crystal ball is calling for a 7 point Panther win, but then again it called for a mild winter too. Let's go Pitt!

DK, could you please inform Mike Young that the game started 15 minutes ago ?

Nice to see Jeter involved early.

Newkirk has zero confidence

A lot of guys on this team have showed steady improvement. Josh Newkirk has gone backwards.

Starting to wonder about Newkirks future with the team. As not having one.

Mike Young - shades of Chevy Troutman

What a horrendous call.

Finally found the game on ThisTV

I'm interested to read this column Dejan. Particularly if you mention the defense.

Duke is slaughtering Wake Forest

Dixon has to go

I swear Miami is missing shots on purpose so they can get layups off the offensive rebounds.

Man alive, how many put backs is that for Miami?

It may be a replay of the last 6 minutes of WF

Miami is in the jungle now! Finish it

I don't really care what Robinsons assist to turnover ratio is. He's not a good shooter and he's not a good defender.

Wake is losing to Duke by 43. The game before Pitt they lost to Virginia by 36.

Nice to see the seniors coming up big on Senior Night. Oh, sorry.

Miami shot 18 free throws. Pitt shot 8. This was a home game.

I don't know...Pitt is a lot like the Steelers right now. There is a lot to like offensively, but their defense has issues at every level. I think they are next to last in ACC FG pct.

Senior wise, I think they will miss Randall and Nwanko more than Cam, only because Uchebo and Haughton are very unproven. Defensively, Youngs out of position in the 5.

I just don't know about this team down the road. PG, defense, and size/rebounding is not what it used to be.

Looking forward to the column, Dejan.

iPhones app is going crazy on this post?

I really thought they would rebound tonight and put up a solid win, especially with Miami missing one of their top scorers. Just seems like the Canes did everything right in the 2nd half and Pitt just couldn't catch a break.

Jerry palm now has Pitt in his first four out of the tournament listing.

Awful performance by the Panthers. Boxing out is a foreign concept. And I wish my drive from the Pete to Bethel Park on those roads tonight was as easy as the drives the Miami wings had to the basket. I am a Pitt fan to the core, but this was a horrible performance. On the plus side, I got to say hello to DK at halftime. Thanks DK.
