Penguins 1, Kings 0, OT

Let's see if they can put 2 in a row together. Looks like Adams is the scratch tonight.

March and helmet are the pregame pens points words.

Lots of Pens fans @ game.

Let's get another.

Kings' uniforms are sweet.

Forgettable PP

Wise decision to move off Lakers colors.

Is it me or are the Kings physically huge?

Orpik w/ OT winner last time saw road unis live.

What is Letang doing? He seems to be everywhere but where he should be

Downie IS allowed to shoot, yes? A 2 on 1 is kinda spoiled when the puck handler passes backward toward the tailing defenders.

2 Sparks unis in rafters.

Awesome.

Great composure so far

Man did Flower have a good period

5 shots on goal - described as a "good" period by the Root boys ... that's it, going to audio by Lange -n- Bourque. ;)

Kunitz has hands of stone.

Gotta get first on Quick.

6 shots now after 30 minutes, Say what you will, but goals are a numbers game against Quick ... no shots no goals.

I don't care how many SOG the Pens have to this point, anyone who doesn't think this is a good, exciting game, isn't a true hockey fan!

Well Flower can only bail them out for so long. It's a back to back they are gonna run out of gas at some point. They need a goal soon

Mario @ Luc statue ceremony.

Pls get Kuni off PP.

Would anyone else like to watch this goaltending matchup for 7 games?

The pass, stand, and watch power-play ain't workin'.

Making it easy on Quick and hard on Fleury is not a recipe for success.

Revelation.

Cold building, hard ice.

They're just messing with our heads. They're gonna pick it up and put it down in the 3rd

If Fleury isn't number #1 star it's a crying shame

Since when has a "puck possession" mentality included a dump-n-chase every time we cross the red line? Thank God for Fleury ... the only beating heart between being 3 goals down and what we are seeing now.

Wow we are brutal tonight. Out played big time.

Scuds has had a great game tonight

There should be something taken from this game: This is the type of playoff atmosphere game that the Pens would not be able to compete well in in previous years. That they are doing this on the second game of a back to back should be a good sign.

1 hell of a zero-zero game

Pls no Scuds 4 on 4.

No matter the outcome at this point stars 1 2 and 3 are all named Fkeury. What a gutsy performance on a night where the guys in front of him are obviously exhausted. They could barely move their legs on those last few shifts. That wasnt lazy that was total fatigue after getting pounded all night long. That is what big strong skilled forwards can do to a team based on speed and skating.

Horny! Totally stole one right there. WOW!

Hornqvist deserved that what a shift!

Quick get out of LA we just stole 2 points

THANK GOD

That was a freakin' good game!!!

All Hornie!

9th shoutout for Fleury right? He earned that one

It's beginning to look a lot like hockey. Pens are rounding nicely into playoff form. Should be lots of fun from here on out.

Most entertaining game all year, easily. However, I have my doubts Pens D could hold up against those monsters for a series. Physical forward play by the all 4 lines definitely helped in that regard tonight. Great win and definitely deserved.

Awesome game by Flower. The refs let both team play tough playoff hockey, although I thought Dustin Brown could have been penalized several times for tripping, the Pens persevered and beat a desperate, well coached, tough playing, big team. Well done PH, PM, BS and DP to earn that goal in OT. Great job Pens!!

Back to back wins against the team with the best record and the defending champs....on the road. Impressive!!

WHAT A GAME! Words can't describe. They beat a very tough team. Excellent hard fought win.

Terrific win, even better hip check by Martin on Kopitar.

Good win. Like what I saw tonight on a number of levels.

Best refereed game seen all season.

This Pens team is very tough and the adversity they have faced (and overcome) during the course of the year has only made them stronger. Like many others have posted, this game was simply tremendous in so many ways - that goes for the Kings too. Those were two talented, poised, gritty and well coached teams that gave it their all last night. Great stuff.

Two impressive wins and back to back!

Just finished watching the game off of dvr. I think MJ could use the game film from this W as a tool on how to win in the playoffs....great victory and shut out Pens!

Kings were you down with hitting and great defence and net minder. I would hate to play a playoff series against them.
