A look at the week ahead on the site …
Monday: Our day opens with a ballpark sunrise, courtesy of photographer Dave DiCello, and it continues with a ballpark dream, lived out by staff reporter Josh Yohe. The latter also will file an analysis of the Pirates’ … well, let’s call it their mojo … by the afternoon. I’ll be a guest at 8:15 a.m. on WDVE’s magnificent Morning Show. There also will be a video podcast of last night’s fiery Sports Showdown on KDKA-TV, on which I was a panelist.
Tuesday: Tuesday 10 Qs get going at 9 a.m., as ever. After that, I’ll head over to PNC Park to cover the twin-game series with the Twins. Full column to follow.
Wednesday: Morning Java video gets us going. At 5:30 p.m., I’ll make my weekly appearance visit to the 105.9 the X to spar with Mark Madden. And by nightfall, I’m back at PNC, and our Matt Gajtka will cover the Riverhounds’ match at Highmark.

• Thursday: At 5:10 p.m., it’s the weekly all-pucks talk on Penguins 24/7 with Brian Metzer. Benstonium expects to be back on this day with … oh, just wait. I’ve seen snippets of this. It’s outrageous. There will be written content on this day, too. Just haven’t sorted that out yet.
• Friday: Friday Insider goes up a tick after midnight. At 5 p.m., I’ll make my weekly appearance on 970 ESPN with David Todd. At night, it’s Pirates-Mets at PNC.
• Saturday: More Pirates-Mets.
• Sunday: More Pirates-Mets. I’ll be back on Showdown that night, as well.
As always, expect News/views entries and other surprises along the way.
