Here’s the podcast of my weekly appearance at the 105.9 the X studios with Mark Madden, in which we discussed weird Root interviews, Andrew McCutchen, Phil Kessel, more.
Dejan Kovacevic appears on 105.9 the X Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
When the station doesn't upload the podcast to SoundCloud, I have no way of posting it other than this. I know it's not ideal. They'll try again tomorrow.
Coming from a unipress genius who sleeps with Mark Madden the screaming idiot!
HE HAS ZERO TALENT OR OPINION WORTH SQUAT!

RE: adding Madden to your team, JUST SAY NO.........
BIG MISTAKE ... PEOPLE HATE HIM WITH BURNING FIRE!

If you are going to call someone an idiot, it's best not to use poor grammar in the same sentence. But better not to call people idiots at all. Leave that to Mark Madden. That's his specialty.

Yeah no thanks on mark joining the site. The Pens already tarnish their rep nationally by being associated with him, DK doesn't need that garbage.

Adding Mr Madden would be an excellent choice. Not sure how a radio sports talk show host tarnishes the Penguins or that people " hate him with a burning fire" but I think he is an outstanding journalist. Various sports viewpoints make for better thought provoking comments.

I find Madden to be very entertaining and well-informed. He's provocative, for sure, but it seems to me that Dejan and he have a nice rapport.

Interesting talk on Robby, I have not been a fan of his interviewing it's pretty awful. I'll take more of Potash. And I can believe Madden called Cutch a douche for that, shows how much he knows.
Dejan, would love your take on journalistic ethics and whether a breach occurred with the tweeting of a photo of Jason Pierre-Paul's medical records by an ESPN employee.
Only doctors can get in trouble for that. Media doesn't

From a HIPPA standpoint yes, but ethical is different from legal.

Robbie Inkwhatever ask's some dumb questions ... "The Pirates win their first series ever against the Padres here at PNC park ... What do you think led to that?"
No need to make fun of his last name. Many of us in Western PA have difficult to pronounce family names, and it's actually a point of pride. And please refrain from profanity going forward. If you're that angry about these posts, please take 10 deep breaths.

Those interviews are entertainment for the fans, not real journalism. Robby works for Root, so he works for the Pirates. It's PR. I'm not saying Cutch (or anyone) has to like it, but he knows the deal. Everyone else seems to play along...I'm on Madden's side here.

Robbie Inkwhatever IS SIMPLY CLUELESS at times... his interviews are lame and uncomfortable to listen to let alone to have to answer them .... there has to be better out there!!
Dan Potash knows how to do it like no other ... Trenni Kusnierek really had her shit together!
I enjoy your weekly segment on Mark Madden's show. Oddly enough the more people that hate him is a reflection of how good of a job he does. You handled the segment today very well. Entertaining.
Just a general observation about Mr. Madden's commentary on McCutchen. For the 20 minutes I listened to him discuss McCutchen's poor interview, he never once mentioned that on the same night he helped out on the grounds crew. Instead, he just pointed out how Giancarlo Stanton elevates the game with his interviews. Mr.Madden can't point out one part of a crazy night without looking at another big part.
