Monday Planner: Kansas City, here I come

Love kc. Coming in august for angels series. Last june came for seattle series. 98 for first pitch on friday night. Wow was it hot

Oklahoma Joe's & Jack Stacks (Bryant's if you must) are all he needs.

Not the faintest idea. I swear. Hope he's OK.

He threw a tantrum about soccer coverage as opposed to baseball.

Tantrum about Soccer coverage? Did somebody force him to click on the link? My goodness.

I don't think bull pen nate knows what he's talking about, Scott.

Scott Brown (last seen @ ESPN)?

No and no.

Dick Groat? ;-)

Yes sir, US Air really stuck it to Pgh.
Sorry for the mini rant but that just struck a nerve,

On a return from Montreal once I had to fly to DC, change planes and then fly to Pittsburgh. Agree completely about USAir, but the airline industry in general has just gone berserk.

Jose

The best way to get more flights in/out of Pittsburgh is to have more Corporations have headquarters or significant operations here. Look at the precipitous drop over the last 2 decades.

True Scott,
but that airport was built almost exclusively to be a US Air hub.
They dumped the taxpayers and the City.

I once flew to Newark to get to the Philippines. Had to get out a globe to check if everything I'd been taught about geography was a blatant lie.

I wouldn't fly USAir with free tickets. Bastards.

PucknutZ

USAir did demand an awful lot, and as I recall, they actually wanted at least 30% more gates than was actually built. But we can’t let the Allegheny County Democratic Machine that allowed USAir to bully their way. Forrester & Co., didn’t negotiate in any protection.

USAir built their empire on a faulty business model with the wrong size jets with the amount of hubs they had at the time, which is why they’ve had several mergers to try and drag the butts out of the jackpot they built.

This all doesn’t change the fact that you need destination traffic to justify planes coming in and out.

Really enjoy the Pens coverage....as a former Missourian Dejan, if at the Plaza- Fiorella's Jack Stack BBQ or find Oklahoma Joe's...or Arthur Bryant's...stay at the Drury, best free breakfast anywhere and free food at night....and a short walk to the K....enjoy....

Like I said before, above all I came for the Bucs N Pucks expertise... Now off to figure out my renewal email...

It's easy. Just sign up. As long as you're using the same email address you did then, nothing changes. Thanks for everything, Scott!

Quick tip for those that were not in the auto renewal. Use a private browsing session/window. After trying to logout in a normal window, it kept telling me that I was still logged in.

Proud Year 2 Subscriber. I'd rather pay $2/mo so I know that I paid for one Venti upgrade!

My brilliant theory on why Pens draw so many page views:
Pens Fans skew younger by a bunch. You, unlike the newspapers were shrewd enough to foresee the power of "social media" and embrace it.
You constant activity on Twitter and Facebook (even though I hate them both, and Facebook " is" evil) seems to drive a lot of hits.
That stuff is oxygen to the younger crowd, they would die without it. Cool.

Dejan any idea how many people went to that scrimmage? I am guessing between 4000 - 5000. They filled about half the lower bowl. NO Connor Mcdavid, no Sid or Geno. Just to watch a scrimmage. Most of those guys will never play regularly for the pens at Consol. Hockey is a niche sport but the appetite for the Pens is amazing. I have it, so does my 8 year old, who is in his 3rd year playing and he absolutely loves the game. He sort of likes baseball, could care less about the Steelers, but loves hockey, and the Pens. He rooted for the Hawks after we lost because of Saad. We live in PR so he is partial to the former BV Dawg. I can't wait for the season to come and it just ended. They never disappoint either, my goodness they traded for Phil Kessel! Love the coverage and can't wait to see what you and Josh do for the upcoming hockey season.

The more Pens coverage the better. I read the Steelers will have the triple threat coverage this week- hoping to see the same for some of the Pens! Love the site, keep up the great work!

Just renewed and upped it from Annual to Lunatic.

Hopefully Team DK is using Slack

But the minors are stocked... Wait a minute. It's all 2A and below. When you're calling up Brent Morel, you have major shortages. Calling Clint Barmes, please come in...

Shocked me also, training camp already!

First game is 2 weeks from yesterday.

3 weeks from yesterday. Math is my strong suit you know.
