DEJAN KOVACEVIC, DK ON PITTSBURGH SPORTS Getting ready for kickoff … Game: Penn State vs. Central Florida, season opener, 8:32 a.m., Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland TV, radio: ESPN2, 1410 KQV-AM Online: Game Tracker / Multimedia / Official media notes
Let’s go Lions!
Can’t wait. Penn state taking the place of my normal EPL fix this morning.
Always cheer for the BIG. Good way to get first game nerves settled for the new coach-a true neutral site. Welcome back Saturday football!
should have got the death penalty but the QB is very good.
Franklin lines Hackenberg out wide on 3rd and goal and direct snaps to the RB who isn’t even close to scoring.
Why on earth did he do that? Horrid call.
Exactly right. That play is gone for the rest of this game.
Horrible offensive pass interference call before the half. Officiating has been bad for both teams. Which conference are these guys from?
Think I heard them say American Athletic
Conf.
They had a tough half.
Db list of things to do: 1. Cover man. 2. Find ball.
Secondary was supposed to be a strength on this team. Ugh.
What a catch on fourth down!
Unbelievable. CFU with a great 2 minute drill drive to take the lead with 1:13 to go.
QB is going to get hammered and no question he is the key to everything this year.
PSU drives in final minute. Wins it on last second FG, 26-24.
What an opening Saturday game!
So very happy for Ficken. He’s been through a lot, and could have folded.
Really glad O’Leary started and played the wrong qb most of the game.
Hack is a stud…good win.
WE ARE!!!
Nice win for PSU, but that qb won’t last long if they can’t run the ball.
What no DK in Ireland? I figured he would cover it live and then quickly fly back to Pittsburgh for the Pitt game. Expectations too high?
