DEJAN KOVACEVIC, DK ON PITTSBURGH SPORTS Getting ready for faceoff … Game: Penguins vs. Columbus Blue Jackets, preseason, 7:08 p.m., Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio Radio: 105.9 the X Online: Live box score / Multimedia / Official media notes
I listened to parts of 1st 2 periods on radio last night. . Phil Bourque said Pens were spending far too much time in the defensive zone——never progressing the puck into the offensive zone. . From the bits I saw of 3rd period, Pens looked like they were skating in pudding.
Isn’t that what the Consol ice is made of?
Except the game was in Columbus…
The advertisements have arrived!
Columbus will pose a threat to the Pens supremacy in the tragically named Metropolitan Division. By season’s end, these two clubs probably won’t like each other too much.
I’ve noticed some teams are playing split squad doubleheaders. Some of these are being played outside of nhl cities. Would the Pens ever do this? Are these doubleheader games regulation length? Are they single or double admission events? And where is Jandy?
Jandy was watching the Bucs. :) But… I don’t know anything about these split squad doubleheaders, sorry. Monster Mash?
Yes, you rang?
The split squad doubleheaders? Can you help Radio out?
Doubleheader with single admission sounds like a plan to me. :)
