    Memo to Coach Johnston:
    .
Just a heads up…teams will start flooding the corners with extra forecheckers in attempt to prevent the cute lil reverse plays. Much like Philly has done in past and phx last season during game here. You may want to have dmen spread out so….

…they can’t be blanketed into a turnover after not being able to reverse puck. Wheel play out of corner with winger establishing ‘reverse point’ further up the halfway should do the trick. This may not happen right away, but it will.

So, the Kings have embarked on a three game road trip that takes them to San Jose, Las Vegas and Colorado Springs before returning home to Staples Center for the home opener and banner raising. When asked if it would be a bonding trip, HC Darryl Sutter said something like, ” I

Pens have the look of a well-coached team for a change. Loved Errey saying the d-men are now coached to take the man around the crease, not poke check the puck. Even Scuds is hitting opponents. Love the forwards going to the net and staying there.
