Coldest weather of the season on the way here in Central Florida, looking at lows near 60 & highs of 80. It means the birds are back, snow birds. When I moved here in 2011 a local told me they follow baseball. Head North when the teams do and back in Play-offs.

I love Saturdays in Autumn. Locally, Kansas visits Morgantown (still an odd yearly conference game to me) and Pitt tries to rebound against UVA under the lights in Charlottesville. PSU is idle.

I spent 20 years as a newspaper reporter before the gloomy economics of the business made me launch a new career. We were giving our product away for free and wondering why paid circulation was plummeting. To say I'm rooting for your success is a massive understatement.

I've got a brother-in-law with an iPhone and an obsession with Pittsburgh sports. And a birthday coming up in November.

Great news about the app. Looking forward to the download. Was listening to a bit if the Cards game and thought LA had them. Was surprised to see the final score.

Hope Pitt gets back on track against the Hoos. We will see.

I'll go on record as being willing to wait a little longer to get a bug-free app. Look at the mess with iOS 8. Two patches already released and the iOS is less than one month old. Patience is a virtue.
