Pirates 6, Phillies 5 ¹⁶

I love me some Steve Lombardozzi———nice to talk to, good hands, plays well anywhere, good contact both side of plate, sharp arm.

Glad Bucs picked him up, even though no space on the club right now. Good insurance, especially for next year when no Sean Rodriguez.

I saw Lambardozzi play with Harrisburg in AA when he was coming up with the Nats. At the time he struck me as more of a glove than a bat. He made contact with a lot of pitches just usually not real square leading to a lot of ground balls and pop ups. Now I saw him all of three times so small sample size and certainly lots of room for improvment from a raw AA talent to big league bench man.

So Dejan is covering the B squad? Nice.

Don't lie. You miss the Jerry Sands analysis days.

Dude, I was convinced Jerry Sands was the steal of the...sheesh, I don't even remember which trade he was involved in...but yeah, whatever you do, never let me make you think I have the slightest clue what I'm talking about.

Jerry Sands, man.

It happens.

You were right about a lot. Not sure if 2015 will be as successful as the last two, but I like where they are. And I trust NH as a talent evaluator now. Future looks promising. Hopefully the can fix the cable deal and retain some talent.
