Penguins 3, Hurricanes 2, final

First!
Can they counter the Canes this time?

Anyone know if Goc is playing? And Adams possibly not.

Never heard of this guy . Record don't look too good.
Started at METALLURG MAGNITOGORSK- Geno's old team ain't it?
(DK's hot links above make it seem like I know something. lol)

Wow, did Borts just blow through them.
Is he that good are they that bad?? lol

How does Carolina end up with the PP there?

someone explain that penalty call in view of DK's column. especially the non interference call on the canes.

Well I find it interesting Mattaa is the replacement for Letang on PP. Maybe tell us something of future.

Pens back in reaction mode, not instigator.

Still want Bortuzzo every game, had my fill of Scuderi. He hurts Simon's play also.

Wish we had Gerber.

I have lost all confidence in knowing what an NHL penalty is.

There seems to be a lot of non/questionable calls on both teams each game IMO. Have to outplay the opposition to cause penalty calls, simple.

Maybe I am just a jaded old fart but, I don't think NHL officiating is any better or worse than NFL or MLB.
NFL... heck they got part timers workin the most powerful league in the world. Rules can be so complicated some times that you almost need the book to figure it out. They also could call holding on almost every play, interference one way or the other on most pass plays.
MLB...strike zone can be erratic. Other than that they seem to get most of the rest right. Heck in the big games they are six of em out there in a static game with just one thing to watch for.
NHL...Ya, they do try to keep it even, make-up calls are just a way of life. The big guys like Sid and Mario don't get a lot of slack. Its like the refs in the back of their mind are thinkin "If I was caught with one of them bearing down on me and likely me looking like a pylon, HE double hockey sticks yes I am gonna slash, bash, trip, as necessary"
For the most part calls or non-calls don't win or lose a game.

Lol for coaches, maybe your players don't like you. Referees aren't liked by both teams and the fans lol!

Glad I got to watch here in raleigh with all my friends that are canes fans!. Go pens!!!

Amazing how much better they looked from the night before. When you don't turn the puck over umpteen times it increases your chances of winning greatly.
