On location: Penguins 6, Lightning 3

Bennett played a full game (played well) and didn't get hurt! At least I don't think he did. I didn't see where he is listed day-to-day with an undisclosed upper, middle or lower body injury.

Was not expecting a trade so early but it seems to be a good one.
Never got much of a feel for Klinkhammer and Perron appears to be pretty solid.
First round pick was going to be a low pick likely and they often turn out to be crap-shoots anyway.
I don't believe Sammulson was ever going make it with the Pens so no great loss there.
We get a few more guys back and we can start to see what kind of team we really have.

Guess this cements Oilers getting either McDavid or Eichel.

Poor Connor or Jake.

I hope the listed line pairing don't last long, Malkin with Ebbett and Rust.

Kunitz, in front of the net!

Malkin and Adams got into a fight during the morning skate?

Guy on the goal horn is gonna catch some #$**. lol
Gotta play to the whistle. That horn and the old goal light don't mean nuttin.
That said, Bolts did seem to pause a bit, Pens did not.

Rebound-Score !!!
Love to hear that call... going to the net... yes.

No lead is safe. Ever.

Downie's production when on the ice has been great, just needs to make a better effort to stay on the ice.

Lane.. you are correct. But he is getting better at it...slowly...
Gotta jag ya though.
Malkin/Ebbert/ Rust. Maybe just a bit longer. lol

Pens look energized tonight

The deadly 3-0 lead. Then lose about five consecutive puck battles and give up a goal, with a couple late penalties thrown in. Weird sport.

Pens need to take advantage of the power play they'll be getting soon.

Being steadily out worked. Now down to a one goal lead.

Great hustle by Bennett.

Then over to Christoph Waltz . . . er, Christian Ehrhoff for the one-timer.

Weird call on the delayed penalty. Correct I believe but...
and I never really thought about it too much but some of it don't make much sense.
Straight shot deflects off opposing players stick goes in ... no goal? Whistled down, possession??
Straight shot deflects off goalie...no goal?? Possession again??
Don't seem much point in the delay, need an absolute clean shot to score???

Rust: He never sleeps. And he never passes.

Let's go Pens! Don't give the game away like Pitt did today

Wow Depres did not look good on their 3rd goal

The dreaded 5-3 lead.
Nothing is safe!

Need to readjust the score. Downie a SHG. 6-3 final. Sid 4 assists.

Stuart

Good win, bring on Perron!

Liked the way the Pens played from about 4 minutes left. Very good work keeping them bottled up until the goalie was pulled.

Pens are exercising the Bylsma ghosts of putrid hard headed coaching. JR really good pick up in Perron. Pens hopefully return to health going forward and this team will be fun to watch. JR wants wingers who go to the net and can score in traffic. That is the recipe for the Pens playoffs here.

Can we just waive Craig ***ing Adams right now? Dont like Malkin missing a practice? Get off your high locker room cancer horse.
Don't like a high stick in the face?
Wasn't worth fighting over when you watched it happen to Sid all last playoffs.
Get out now.
