There's a chance we could hit 10K before Cole's first pitch. Imagine that.

Or maybe before Pedro stops being a thorn in our collective sides. . .

I honestly have no idea what an App is, but I can access and read and post if I want to from my phone. So, life is good.

Short for "application" Biz. Us retired guys have to stick together!

I've had the android update for a couple of days. I think I updated Wednesday! I love it! It enhances the feel of the site to a whole new level!

I had an update dated on the 12th that had the new commenting on it. figured that this was just an update to the update. at least in the name of consistency, my avatar doesn't work here either lol

Dejan, the new commenting platform showed up in the Android app on Jan 10. I submitted a minor bug report by email that your wife responded to that day.

Howdy Dejan,
Can you make the Allegheny Network Ad go away? Real annoying location a for iPhones because you launch it when scrolling up. Plus annoying when you don't live there. Thanks!

Jason, AN is DK's major corporate sponsor. They have literally earned the right to show up. I don't live in the Burgh any more either, but if I did I sure would give them my business.

That space is part of the app, as well as very common placement. We're extremely proud of our affiliation with AHN and, to be candid, without them, there might not be an app. It's cost us more than $10,000 to make the app.

No need to hit the ad when trying to scroll up. Just put your finger in the center of the iPhone display and flick or scroll from there.

I had a very frustrating problem in November, around Thanksgiving, and was very pleased with your response and fixing of it. No-tech guys like myself need all the help we can get.

What happened to "Recent Posts" on the right side of this site page?

Made it easy to get to the columns/posts of choice.

Switch back, please.

Must go to "Home" to get updates on Kang, Friday tidbits, 12 Questions, etc.

I love this site, and so does my son... We both got the app, and you're the first thing we encounter every day... Great job on this...The sole issue I've ever had is the one another subscriber brought up this morning... The Allegheny Network ad popping up when you scroll on the iPhone! At least it wasn't just me... By the way, your Refs-Against-the-Pens theory was in full play last night with the non-call on the slash against Downie, followed by his stupid intentional slash, followed by everything falling apart...

Did receive iPhone notification of the David Todd podcast. Looking forward to those easy reminders - even though I usually already catch all the articles fairly quick.

As a Pittsburgh born and raised now Nashvillian web developer. I really appreciate your candidness about the product and its cost. At the same time I hope users can understand the complexity and challenge of building and maintaining a news application. (Especially between two completely different phone platforms.) I just subscribed last week and already I can tell the app for iPhone is polished and easy to use. Well done DK and congrats on the flourishing business. PS going through apples approval process is hell sometimes. Especially when using a mobile framework app like I believe this is. (Ionic/Cordova/Phonegap?) Tell the dev team well done.
And Let's go Pens.

I just have to add on to Dejan's comments about using help. I have emailed multiple times (most of them user error… haha :). Every time I hear back from Dejan or Dali VERY quickly. This site has the best customer support out there!! I get great explanations. I really can't say enough good things about the support offered. But I will end now before this turns into a novel!
