Pitt 83, Syracuse 77

Good first half. Cam Wright hurt his leg and did not return though. Still having much trouble guarding the dribbler. But the Pete is rocking and no place I would rather be. Let's go Pitt!.

Have I mentioned recently that Pitt is a train wreck defensively ?

The Pitt basketball team showing some resolve! I like it.

Pitt basketball closing out big games. Need to keep rolling, if we plan on going dancing!

Pitt playing themselves into the tourney... WVU playing themselves out if the tourney.

Another typical basketball season.

Can't say enough about Artis' development. Can't wait to see he and Young next two years.

Gee, I am sure glad Dixon rested Sheldon Jeter ---- all season --- for today.

Just think if Jeter would have played more this year. Someone said before that he has poor defense............. the whole team has poor defense!

I think Jeter could have given this team a few more wins this year.

Maybe Pitt can play Penn St. in the NIT.

Definitely want to see more Jeter. Huge win, down big, a handful of times but never stopped fighting back.

Cam Wright - left ankle inj. HUGE game from Jeter and a great home W vs a quality opponent!

Caught the first half. It was a nice win against a down Cuse team with nothing to play for. I feel better about this team headed into next year, but they have one hell of a road schedule ahead.

63 in the RPI, with three games against VA, NC, Louisville who are all in the top 15 RPI and AP.

They get in tourney somehow, they will have earned it.

Gotta get win here today. Syracuse bound to be a little demoralized after this week. Unfortunately, they are starting well.

Another couple games like today, and we'll make the tournament after all

Jamie does such a great job against that Cuse Zone. Amazing development over the last month by Artis, and even Newkirk seems to be calming down a bit. Really like the trajectory of this team; just a shame to have dropped that VT game, which might have given a bit of a cushion.
