The Steelers have made a bunch of news the past couple days. The Penguins have three home games in the next four days. But before long — Monday, actually — I’ll be back in Bradenton for a second full week of Pirates spring training coverage. Columns, Tuesday 12 Qs, Friday Insider, videos, podcasts, the whole deal.
It won’t stop there. John Perrotto, a three-decade veteran on the beat, will take over after I return with 10 consecutive days of his original insights inside the camp. And by the time the club comes north, I’ll be waiting in Cincinnati to cover the opener.
As such, we’re offering baseball gift subscriptions as a chance for newcomers to join in time for a full spring, summer and — hey, who knows? — another fall of baseball. Just click the happy box below, then choose the custom baseball card to email to the recipient.
As always, we appreciate the support of our readers and sponsors. We’re approaching 9,000 subscriptions through out first 7 1/2 months, this after we aimed for 10,000 in a year. Amazing.
