  1. DJ says:

    Yes, first!
    .
Three reasons to boo: (1) Jagr; (2) Cammalleri; (3) Halloween (almost)

    1. DJ says:

      One reason to cheer: Olli

      1. Sarah says:

That kid is gonna get a big cheer.

        1. Jason Baileys says:

I’m here with my son and we will be giving him some love.

    2. Sarah says:

      Ahh I’m OK w Jagr.
Camalleri, not so much lol!! Little smurf.

      1. PucknutZ says:

Ya Jagr I can stand, if only because he can still play quite well at his age.

      2. DJ says:

Jags an awesome talent in his day. Miffed at last episode where left us standing at altar.
        .
Of course, I’m miffed at anyone who has opportunity to sign here and doesn’t. Just me — ha!

        1. DJ says:

And one who did — #4.

  2. Oshie says:

Hope they arn’t looking past the Devils to the champs on Thursday.

  3. Sarah says:

Are they really the Devils without Broduer?

    1. Jason Baileys says:

      They will always The Devil

  4. Sarah says:

I guess he was testing FA market but nobody’s bitten yet….

  5. Karen22 says:

Hope the Pens of the last game show up again. They were awesome!

  6. Sarah says:

The smurf is their leading scorer.
But he’s out tonight, that’s good for us.

  7. theplanisworking says:

    Go Pens, and Go Olli.

  8. Jason Baileys says:

Hey DK if you get bored in the press box come say hi my son and I are in 230 row E.

  9. Jason Baileys says:

Man do I love ticket exchange

  10. Dodkong says:

That look on Johnson’s face was exactly what every Pens fan was feeling right there: Complete. Utter. Disbelief.

  11. Sarah says:

    Welp.
Always fun to play from behind vs THIS bunch…..
I only saw the tail end of a replay…..did it hit Letang?? I hope so for Fleury’s sake!….

  12. Dodkong says:

Night of Bad Goals Allowed now playing on Root Sports.

    1. Sarah says:

Yah the Gs are having a tank-off….

  13. mcpitt88 says:

    Dk how’s the app coming?

    1. Sending to Apple tomorrow night.

  14. Dodkong says:

    Sighs

  15. DJ says:

Is it asking too much for Letang to put a puck on net on PP?
    .
    Like just one, maybe.

  16. Dodkong says:

    No Marty. Same results.

  17. Dodkong says:

Ok, maybe I was a bit too hasty with the same results comment. ;)

  18. Milo Hamilton says:

The last 5 periods on home ice, Kris Letang is minus 7.

    1. Jason Baileys says:

      But he has a bobblehead

  19. DJ says:

    Hornie!

    1. DJ says:

      Sweet pass by Depres.
      .
      Bylsma must be proud.

  20. Sarah says:

    Ugly game.

  21. Milo Hamilton says:

First time Adams got close enough to someone to take a penalty.

    1. Milo Hamilton says:

It was all part of Craig Adams’ master plan.

  22. Gene Z says:

And ADAMS does his best SID impression …!

    1. casper in a-town says:

Followed by Sid doing his best Sid impression!

  23. Dodkong says:

Lol: “Craig Adams, first goal in 297 games…wait, that’s not right!”

  24. DJ says:

    Adams with slick move.
    .
Was that a pig flying by?

  25. Dodkong says:

    Sid potting the pinballing puck

  26. Milo Hamilton says:

That’s 55 career goals for Adams. In 889 games. I’m surprised it’s that many.

    1. Sarah says:

If they re-sign Adams I’m leaving town.

  27. DJ says:

Two players on net for Depres’ shot. We could go 15 straight games last year and not have two players on net for rebound or tip.

    1. Gene Z says:

There were actually three … believe it or not.

      1. DJ says:

I’ll need to hit my rewind button.

        1. Gene Z says:

I noticed it on the replay between periods. Amazing.

  28. Sarah says:

I’m guessing they miss Marty in NJ now…..

    1. DJ says:

Saw advanced statistic before season that had Schneider #4 behind Lundqvist, Greiss and Elliott in “home plate” save %.
      .
Pens putting pucks on the black tonight.

      1. Sarah says:

        Sorry Home Plate?

        1. DJ says:

Posts to dots, straight to top of circles, then across. Shape of home plate.
          .

        2. Sarah says:

          My bad, of course.
I used to call it The House actually.

        3. Jim S. says:

& that’s why they call it home plate, I think. Shaped like a house.

  29. DJ says:

    Hornqvist = One strong dude.

    1. Brandie says:

      Great Pens pick up!

      1. DJ says:

Has had his fair share of penalties.
        .
I’ll take every one of ‘em.

        1. DJ says:

Sorry, Brands. Thought you were talking Downie after his score.

  30. Milo Hamilton says:

    Chili !

  31. All this scoring…you’d think Big Ben was helping out!

  32. DJ says:

Like a crowded bus in front of net.

  33. DJ says:

I’m predicting Elias Diaz hits four homers in fall league tomorrow.

  34. Jim S. says:

I’m only able to follow on my phone as I’m at my son’s baseball hitting practice. But, I’m guessing we’re happy with tonight’s performance after the first 9 seconds? What a barrage of goals!

    1. DJ says:

7 straight, Jim. Were down 3-1.

      1. Jim S. says:

I listened to some of the 2nd period on XM. Lange & Bourque seemed to think the Pens could have had another goal if the replay went their way on the power play where we allowed the shorty.

  35. DJ says:

Great game by Depres. Dishing out hits, tough on puck, accounting directly for two goals. Liked what I saw.
    .
Would give him shot at point on PP.

  36. DJ says:

Seeing lot of yellow seats on blog tonight. Where’d everybody go?
    .
Don’t make DK revoke your subscriptions.

  37. Adam says:

What a difference competent coaching makes. Just imagine the outcome if Bylsma was still the coach. They would have kept skating right into NJ’s trap and frustrated themselves. Instead, lots of patience on the entry led to the kind of beatdown NJ rarely gets.
