On location: Penguins 3, Rangers 2, SO (for real)

Will my on again off again rangers show up tonight?

I'll be interested to see the lines tonight...what will out Top 6 look like with only 3-4 actual top-6ers available? Unless we count BB....though he seems stuck in bottom 6 for now....

Alt jerseys tonight???

Is sutter playing?

I guess he is

Man, what I would give for those true black and gold uniforms to be permanent. It's special to see them wear those.

Kunitz what was that?

Another puck right on the Ranger goal line

Still freaky to see a left-handed No. 10 wearing these unis. Especially against the Rangers. Beware the center-ice slapper.

Wow who had Comeau in the pool?

That was a bit soft, but they all count.

Wow what a crappy shift there come on Sid

And it looks like Downie is getting is schedule minor penalty in early.

Honest question here.....is the Downie thing working?

DK, let's talk Ehrhoff for a bit. I was highly critical of him through the 1st 12 games for being a complete defensive liability, but it seems like the 1 play he made in that 12th game, the diving poke check in OT at Winnipeg, has suddenly sparked him & he's playing completely..

PK looking like a few weeks ago....my goodness Adams is slow....had no chance to pressure the point there....then a cluster in front. Ugh.

He's not really creating much offense and all the penalties are starting to get annoying

Come on stay out of the flipping box already

I knew I was bound to jinx him, as soon as I gave him some credit

I don't know if Johnston is a vocal guy in the locker room, but wouldn't you rip your guys a new one after that period?

Except for that diving poke check in OT in Winnipeg, I agree he was atrocious. Since then, it seems like he remembered he's a DEFENSEman

If the Penguins continue treating King Henrik with excessive respect, they'll never beat the Rangers. Simple as that. Comeau's the only one to take the right approach that period. Goalie's a goalie. Shoot the puck.

DK do you know the scoop on PAUL Martin, does he want to get extension here or got to FA?

Is there a real crowd in the house or what, sounds dead in there? Not that the home team is doing much to cheer about.

What a shot by Geno!

My rangers holdingtheir own so far.

Geeeeenooo!!!

So much for that.

Hornqvist just got robbed

I can shoot harder than Scuderi. In all my goalie equipment.
#notevenkidding

Need to bury some of these giveaways by Rangers

Geno seems to have located the Beast Mode button!....

I'm sure Sid is upset there but they are letting them play, deal with it man go to the net!

He definitely is showing some moxy of late Sarah

That was a very entertaining 5 min or so...
Keep it up

Although the Flower has played the puck rather well tonight....still scares me every time he goes behind the net.
Maybe he is really working on that puck play.

Got home for the second period and was going to check in, but couldn't take my eyes off the action until period break. The effort to win is definitely there.

PP needs to punch it in here!

Holy cow that was a huge hit by Geno! Shoulder on shoulder though.

Rangers fresher but Pens are playing with a lot of emotion.

Sid had the game on his stick there

Giarardi is one tough sob coming back from that hit

Can't fault Scuderi there he shouldn't be on the ice on 3v3 though probably for that reason

Well pen had 2 breakaways in ot, they definitely had their chances

Two best shootout goal tenders of all time.

Hank hank hank!

Wow 1st time I've seen that before!

Nice win for us. Great game either way. This is why we all love hockey.

Take that Henry!

What the heck happened!

You said it wave unreal game

Never seen anything remotely like that! A loss, then a win!

Very entertaining game, much better than that Jets game, teams actually played hockey tonight.

I feel like I fooled. I shuttered off be leaving the Rangers at one. Nice win Pittsburgh.

So if Maatta comes back Tue. who sits on defense?

What a game!

I really never did buy the concept that the regular season is completely meaningless.Excellent early season "hockey game". Both teams playing ba!!'s to the wall. Ya spoiled as we are ,Pens are a lock for the playoffs but that extra point ...never know. Great "Hockey Game"!!

Nice call on the double tap. Or Boyles bunt. Sutter great game. bennett needs to pick it up a little bit.

BB needs to do something other than flare to circle after crossing blue line.
.
Needs to think shoot first. This isn't Wilkes-Barre.

Hey DK, confused how Letang was able to leave the penalty box in OT with Scuds still serving a penalty...any thoughts?

My comment on the best hockey I've seen didn't appear. Have I been blocked for some reason?
