Podcast: Salary cap freakout on 105.9 the X

DEJAN KOVACEVIC, DK ON PITTSBURGH SPORTS

No sports topic lights my fire quite like the salary cap. I wrote about that for this site a couple weeks ago, and I attempted to verbalize that today on the radio — guest-hosting again for Mark Madden on 105.9 the X — on the occasion of the Red Sox casually throwing around $200 million on Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval.

Major League Baseball isn’t just a joke. It’s an unfair, fraudulent joke.

Here are all segments of the show, including Steelers, Penguins and a little Pitt football.

This was the third and last of my appearances. I’m grateful to all listeners, callers, producer Bob McLaughlin and, of course, the host himself, who will return tomorrow. A good time was had.
