On location: 60th NHL All-Star Game

Safe travels, sir.

Turned game on for a minute and had to turn the channel....looks like a Sunday morning scrimmage between friends....
It's really embarrassing for the league I would think....no effort.

I've watch this game for two minutes now and I want to tear my arm off and beat myself with it.

This game is pretty awful. Fleury has given up 2 goals on 2 shots and Crawford 2 goals on 3 shots. I guess I haven't watched an All Star game in awhile. They might as well just play 5 forwards the whole game or have 3 on 3 the whole time.

What was the over/under for this game? 30?

Sorry... but I think the World Cup of Hockey would be infinitely more entertaining than this fiasco.

I actually like these mid-season All-Star games. Let them play like kids on a pond; no hitting, no fear of injury---just the joy of a few guys getting to play the game they love.

Plus it provides great background noise while reading a good book.

This 'hockey' game is worse than when I played pond hockey 40 years ago in New Hampshire

With Kane's goal making it 15-11, Fleury is no longer the goalie of record. Which is fitting, because after this clusterpuck any record of this game should be destroyed.

Dont worry hockey heads... The pro bowl is about to start. Just as awful.

My first (and last) NHL All Star Game. As it turns out, without defense, hitting and intensity - hockey sucks.

After watching just 30 dreadful minutes of the skills competition I turned that off and then refused to watch 'the game'. So thrilled with my decision. It a shame that the league actually takes people money for this.

The All Star event is the whole weekend sleding and ice skating was fun, the fan fest was great, skills event entertaining, and the game was what it was supposed to be entertaining and nobody gets hurt... As someone who was at all 3 I would call it a success. People expecting it to be more than it is are just setting themselves up.

Could have used a DK on sports meet and greet but hey who am i to judge

I truly pity the fans who had to endure the goal horn sounding 29 times during the game. I hope their hearing wasn't damaged.

And how shameful is that the NHL is hyping a new goal scoring record for the All-Star Game on its website. They should be completely embarrassed instead. No defense. No hitting. Every attack was like a 3-on-none skating around a couple of cones.

Worst of all, someone was actually named an MVP in this game.

Break over. Time for the playoff push.

Get ready for some real hockey...
