Podcast: Rapid fire on 970 ESPN w/ Todd

A trip to Florida in February has to be the best reason to follow the pirates.

There is such a disparity between your radio appearances.. Madden is great, Canada is better.. David Todd is not good.. He's like some little kid who pseudo-pays attention, then every few minutes a cartoon light bulb pops over his head, and HE'S GOING TO SAY SOME NOT FUNNY QUIP RIGHT THEN AND THERE.. It doesn't matter if his guest is in the middle of delivering a response to a good question that people hope to hear..

"in first class to Bradenton?"

(yeah! That was totally a worthwhile point that deserved being shouted over your answer about Alverez.. because it was so clever)

I will listen to you pretty much everywhere.. 50/50 on listening to the David Todd bit ever again.

Having a radio show doesn't guarantee the host has situational awareness.

On the bright side, the plane line was HILARIOUS

I like the Alvarez apparel concerns mentioned in the podcast. For me, what we wear reflects our personalities. Ya, Pedro, SHOW you care by SHOWING up, period. As long as he contributes more positively than negatively on the field with consistency and is not a disease in the locker room, great. He could look like Pigpen in the Peanuts cartoon for all I care. His SHOW may even be emulated. If you look like he does and play like he has.........

Always enjoy these weekly check-ins. When I hear the Seven Nation Army chords start, I know it's the weekend! Seems like David Todd is on his game, and I love hearing DK's perspective. Todd and Madden do things differently, of course, but both are good.
