Monday planner: From pitches to pitch 10

A look at the week ahead on the site …
• Monday: Back home after a second week in Bradenton, I’ll try to take this one off following the final Pirates column that will go up later this morning.
• Tuesday: Tuesday 12 Qs occurs at 9 a.m. Later in the morning, I’ll go on the scene at the Penguins’ morning skate, then back to Consol at night for the game against the Blues.
• Wednesday: The Penguins-Blues column will carry the morning. At 5:30 p.m., I’ll make my weekly visit to the 105.9 the X studio to spar with Mark Madden.

• Thursday: In the morning, I’ll preview the Riverhounds’ 2015 season, which opens Saturday vs. Harrisburg. At 5:10 p.m., I’ll check in with Penguins 24/7 online radio and Brian Metzer.
• Friday: Friday Insider goes up a tick after midnight. At 4:45 p.m., I’ll check in with 970 ESPN Radio and David Todd.
• Saturday: Double-duty! Penguins-Coyotes in the afternoon, covered by a full column, followed by Riverhounds-City Islanders at night from Highmark Stadium.
• Sunday: Penguins-Sharks at night.
As always, expect News/views entries and other surprises along the way.
