Final: North Carolina 40, Pitt 35

Nothing but pride and fading hopes of six wins and a bowl bid for these two disapointing teams.

Quietly, Chad Voytik has been improving week to week. It's really all you can ask. Let's hope it continues.

They are using their weapons perfectly today. Where has this approach been?

And now ...it begins.

Ouch! Barely touched!....

You can't punt here. You just can't. Have some grapefruits for once. Good Lord.

When a defeatist losers mentality comes from the top, it's bound to filter its way through the ranks. No wonder this team never can get itself over the hump. have some guts & go out there & take it for once.

TD Tyler yikes what speed!!!!

Oh my, hope that is not ACL.....ugh.

The long time Pitt fan in me says it's going to be 21-21 before Pitt sees the ball again.

Not watching the game. A quick check of the stats shows domination by Pitt, & of course the obligatory last minute TD by the opposition to make it closer than is should be. That about cover it?

Soothsayer Milo. Except for these strange extra points though...

Argh make a tackle!!

Oof. Boyd taking some dead-on hits returning kicks today.

If you were a brilliant offensive mind, with the ability to spot & develop offensive talent, would you turn your defense over to a rank amateur year after year? Or, would you hire a defensive guy who could at least make it so you wouldn't need to score 50 pts to win?

House may be the worst defensive coordinator in the country.

Not to be a Pitt Homer, but I think some of these calls against Pittsburgh have been a bit shady.

UNC going for it is the anti Pitt

Welp.
As my Gramma would say - "Oy vey!"

My rule of thumb on 4th & short near midfield would be ... If the other team really can't stop us & we also can't stop them ... Go for it! Punting them deep doesn't do any good if your defense stinks.
