No walks. Lot of hits.

Neverett just said that when Juan D. First signed with Houston he did it under an assumed name. Kinda makes sense considering he's spent the last few seasons masquerading as a major league pitcher.

Pedro goes into hole toward 2nd to grab grounder . . . . and throws a line drive underhanded to Worley at 1st from a good distance.

His first longer throw is successful!

If he moves back to 3rd, maybe he can throw underhanded.

That's not his first longer throw.

Worley now has retired 10 straight!

Burnett retired 11 straight two days ago.

Boys are rounding into shape.

Mercer just scored from 1st Base on a double by CHAIR-velli.

I read an article just this morning that place the Pirates at 7th in Majors of taking the extra base on bases.

57.7 % of time took base —— 111 of 178 scored from 2nd on a single.

Scored from 1st Base on a double more than 50% of time . . . . . and NEVER thrown out at plate on that play!!!

Juan D. rapidly approaching his allotment of pitches. For the season.

Still on Minor League contract thus far, so effort is still to be expended for next couple of weeks.

Wandy clearly not trying hard today, because that is how baseball works.

How did John Perrotto get ahold of National Mart of Record's account?!

Maybe just Perrotto's opinions are rubbing off!

I'm plenty satisfied with Worley retiring 13 straight today after tough start.

Clayton Richard is another guy that factors into the final mix. Further complicates an already complicated Jeff Locke situation.

I thought he just had to be on the 40, and with some injuries I thought they had a spot. But I could be mistaken.

They'll eventually put Cumpton on the 60 day and that will open up a spot for Richard. If he's not put on the 40 man by the end of spring training he can opt out.

I like Clayton Richard's signing very much.

I just cannot decide on what's going to happen to Locke.
' Course if Charlie Morton joins Kang on Convenience List, Locke will be needed on big club.

I was thinking more along the lines if they feel Richard can be called upon to start if something happens to one of their first five, they may feel more comfortable with the idea of trading Locke.

I don't think Milo meant the 25, DSM. Just whatever shuffling they have to do with the 40 man. I always forget about the DL/convenience list ext spring.

Clayton Richard and his 7-8 innings pitched so far, none of them in a starting role, factors into the final mix?

I don't think so but we'll see.

Wandy won't hold up and Richard could prove to be a fantastic depth signing. No harm whatsoever.
