Podcast: On Ottawa tragedy w/ Winnipeg radio
Here’s the podcast of my talk with good friends Gary Lawless and Andrew Paterson late this afternoon on Winnipeg’s TSN 1290 Radio, entirely related to the events in Ottawa today, including how sports can and can’t heal in such situations. What you hear in those gentlemen’s voices is the pain of a nation. I’m honored that they asked me to be a guest on this day.

Thanks for sharing this, Dejan. Many, many prayers are with our Canadian neighbors. God Bless them.

And kudos to the Pens for making the decision to play the Canadian national anthem before their game to it. This is one classy organization.

Thanks for that. Our thoughts are with Canadians everywhere. Terrorism is rooted in the ugliest of jealousies & knows no borders. The most innocent are the most vulnerable. Be vigilant Canada and stay strong. We’ve got your back.

My generation is one of peace and prosperity. The younger “gears of war” generation is one that accepts and measures itself with violence. And its a world wide problem. Young people are killing each other and people of authority at an alarming historical rate.

And its only going to get worse. We live in a society that cannot foresee the end result of not properly raising our children.
